PRE-REGISTRATION CONTEST!
Pre-Register for the game before October 22nd and be entered into a drawing for an Empire Pro-Flex Mask!
We will draw the winner before the game starts (must be present to win)
ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE 2012
8am-9:30 – registration/ chrono/ paint sales
9:30- 9:50 – game briefing
10am – noon – game section 1
12-1 – lunch break
1-3 game section 2
3-3:40 stand down/ prepare for final battle
3:45-4:30 – final battle
4:45-5pm – awards/ raffle
Storyline
Its fall of 2012 and the Mayan calendar has predicted the end of the world as we know it to be less than 60 days away. Zombies all around the world feel this is their last chance to claim more humans before everyone will perish in December. A small band of Zombies have planned a meeting at a former Missile base In Hobart, Indiana to prepare for the Apocalypse. The meeting is being held here because of a secret military program that captured and killed a Zombie king in 1988, this Zombie’s remains are buried at the facility and play a critical role in the apocalyptic plan. At this meeting, the Zombies will attempt an ancient witch craft ceremony using the King’s remains to reincarnate more zombies and the “chosen one” will be there to watch over the preceding. If the ceremony is successful the Zombie population will increase substantially and we will see destruction like never before. The Human opposition has gotten wind of the chosen ones plans and is planning to put up a fight to oppose….. The ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE.
Section 1 10am-noon
The Zombies and humans must take and hold as much land as possible to assist with their plans. Five flag stations around the field will be scored every 30 minutes.
Zombies must assemble the bones of the fallen King. There are 2 hands, 2 feet, one skull, and a body bag that must be found and returned to the cemetery. The humans may not touch these items but may protect them from being taken.
IN THIS SECTION ONLY – Humans will receive a “death punch” on their player card when they respawn – two deaths and they will change teams to become a Zombie for the remainder of the game.
Scoring
Assembling King – 500 points
Each flag station – 50 points
During lunch break teams will be adjusted if necessary to remain competitive.
Section 2 1-3
The Zombies and humans must take and hold as much land as possible to assist with their plans. Five flag stations around the field will be scored every 30 minutes.
Zombies and humans must find props located around field. Skulls, dismembered limbs, and vials of blood can be taken by either team and must be taken to HQ. HQ’s can be attacked and props can be removed. Props will be scored at 3pm and must be located in teams HQ to be scored.
Scoring
Skulls – 10 points
Vials of Blood – 50 points
Dismembered Limb – 20 points
SECTION 3 3:45 – 4:30
The Zombies have the humans surrounded! It’s time to start the Apocalypse; the zombies will attack the Humans from 3 positions. The Humans will have the Mission Control area to defend. The Zombies will start at west barracks, Auxiliary road, and the Communications Substation. There will be 3 slap sticks in the middle of Mission Control. Those slap sticks will be scored at the end of the game.
Scoring
Each slap stick – 250 points

•Field speed – 270fps 10bps
•Full auto allowed (under 10bps) however NO full auto in buildings
•First strike rounds permitted in white fill only
Law/ Nerf rockets
•Only allowed for the first two sections of the game (not in final battle)
•Must have a Law Rocket card (given at registration) to use. Ref will punch this card each time it is used
•Must have a ref present to verify hit/ punch card
•Allowed 5 rocket launches per section
“The Chosen One”
•Can be used as one of the following
1.“Demonic possession” (sniper)
•Can only be used on one person
1.Medic
•Can only cure one person at a time
•Can cure the person carrying it if they get shot will possessing
1.Transport
•Can transport up to 3 people at a time
•Once transport arrives at location, ref will count to five then players are active
•Can only be used once then must surrender to referee
Re-insertions
Sections 1 &2 will be constant insertions by returning to HQ or if a player leaves field they will be randomly inserted by insertion ref.

GREETINGS
I need a headcoiunt of all the members that plan to attend this event. I would like to
register as a Team instead of as individual Team members. This is something that we
should do starting now. So, if you plan to attend the game at Blast Camp 28 Oct 2012 and
if you havent already registered contact me ASAP.
You guys can pay me back when you can. Remember our Teams Co-Capt has taken on
the role of General.

BRING A CHANGE OF UNIFORM FOR THE ACTUALL HANDS ON PORTION OF THE TRY OUTS. WE WILL ALL HAVE ACTIVE PARTS TO PLAY DURING TRY OUTS

OK, YOU GUYS ALL HAVE A STATION DURING THE TRAINING PHASE. IF YOU HAVENT BEEN CONTACTED BY JOSH, RALPH OR MYSELF THEN THIS SHOULD GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF WHAT IT IS THAT YOU WILL BE DOING THE DAY OF THE TRY OUTS.
1) ADD YOUR PERSONAL TOUCH TO WHAT YOU EXPECT AND WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE THEM PERFORM DURING THE TRY OUTS.
2) DONT HOLD BACK OR SUGAR COAT ANYTHING. ANY QUESTIONS SHOULD BE ANSWERED IMMEDIATELY. IF THEY SEEM CONFUSED THEN STRAIGHTEN THEM OUT. KISS= KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID
3) KEEP WITHIN THE TIME FRAME FOR YOUR INSTRUCTION. EACH STATION SHOULD BE SHORT AND DIRECT TO THE OBJECTIVE. SO BE PREPARED.
4) BRING WHATEVER PROPS YOU WANT TO EMPLOY DURING THESE TRY OUTS. REMEMBER, WE WANT TO KEEP IT AS REAL AS POSSIBLE.

YOU GUYS ALREADY KNOW WHAT THE TEAMS NEEDS ARE. WELL ROUNDED SKILLED PLAYERS. KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN AND WATCH FOR THIS. YOU GUYS CAN POLISH UP YOUR VERBAL TEACHING SKILLS BY REFERRING TO YOU TUBE. CHECK OUT SOME OF THE TRAINING VIDS POSTED BY OTHER TEAMS. RESEARCH WHAT YOUR GOING TO TEACH THEM AND THEN DELIVER IT QUICKLY IN YOUR OWN "RAW" BUT DIGNIFIED WAY! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE ACTUALLY HAVE HELD AN OPEN TRY OUT FOR THE TEAM.
IT CAN GO ONE OF TWO WAYS.......... LARGE GROUP OR A SMALL GROUP, EITHER WAY
WE MUST PREPARE BY HAVING THE SKILLS WE PLAN TO TEST READY TO ADMINISTER.
SO, LETS NOT MAKE THIS AN EASY ONE!!!! THE HANDS ON "TRY OUTS" WILL CONSIST
OF A SENARIO CHALLENGE.

I WANTED TO ADD THAT IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE GREAT TEAM LEADERSHIP AT THIS PAST EVENT I DOUBT THAT THE TEAM WOULD LOOK AS GOOD AS I HEAR VIA ALL THE POSTINGS ON THE TEAM FACEBOOK AND THE E-MAILS IVE RECEIVED. I WANT TO THANK TEAM CAPTAIN JOSH "BAD KARMA" AND RALPH "GORILLA" FOR TAKING UP THE LEAD AND KEEPING THE TEAM MOVING FORWARD. OUTSTANDING JOB GUYS!!!
ALSO, THE TEAM MEMBERS THAT ATTENDED THE EVENT( MURDER TOOLS, DIRTY GUNZ ) YOU GUYS ARE THE FOUNDATION OF THE TEAM. YOU GUYS COMPEL THE TEAM TO PUSH FORWARD AND COMPLETE THE MISSIONS AND REACH THOSE OBJECTIVES.
